FAQs

We also understand that when you move into a home that uses a private septic system, there is a bit of a learning curve involved, and we are here to provide all the information you need in order to take good care of your system. Below, you can find the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.

What septic services do you provide?

Our team provides a wide range of septic services to help you keep your system in good working order. We offer routine services such as septic inspections, tank pumping, and general maintenance, and we also provide repair services when malfunctions occur. In addition, our team can service every part of your septic system, including the tank itself, the drain field, the grease trap, and even the sewer line.

What can cause my septic tank to back up?

Septic backups can be caused by several factors. For example, damage to the drain field can cause the contents of the tank to back up into your drains and toilets, as the waste will not be able to drain away like it’s supposed to. In addition, tanks can become clogged if items other than toilet paper are flushed down the drain or if your kitchen sink becomes choked with grease.

How often should I have my septic tank pumped?

In general, we recommend that you have your septic tank pumped every 3-5 years. If you give us a call, we can inspect your system and discuss your water usage habits to give you a more specific answer.
